The FeelWorld LUT11S 10″ 4K Ultra-Bright Monitor with Loop-Through HDMI and 3G-SDI is a budget-conscious touchscreen mid-sized monitor. I am not sure why companies continue to call HD resolution monitors 4K monitors because that is very misleading.

The LUT11S features a 10.1″ 1920 x 1200 IPS panel with a claimed brightness of 2000 nits and a contrast ratio of 800:1.

The screen has a ppi of 224 and a 170 degree viewing angle.

It also supports REC709, DCI-P3, and BT2020 multiple color gamut.

The monitor tips the scales at 810g / 1.78 lbs. 10.1″ is a bit of a strange size and I personally feel that it is too big to use as an on-camera monitor and too small to be used as a stand-alone monitor.

The LUT11S can be powered via Sony NP batteries or mains power and it features a dual battery plate on the back. The monitor draws 28W. There is also an external power kit that can be used to install and power external equipment, like wireless transmission, an LED light, and anything else that can be powered by a Sony F970 battery. The kit has two cross slots, so you can adjust the position of the external device by loosening the screws. When you don’t need the kit, you can directly loosen the screws to remove it from the monitor.

The LUT11S is not only equipped with DC IN 12V (12/3A), but it also provides auxiliary power out (DC OUT 8V) allowing users to power their camera using optional battery adapter cables. Feelworld sells a DC coupler adaptor for NP-FW50 Sony, LP-E6 Canon, and DMW-BLF19 Panasonic.

As far as mounting is concerned, there are three 1/4-20″ threads which are located on the bottom and left and right-hand sides of the monitor.

There is an HDMI In and an HMDI Output and you can loop through a signal. Lilliput also gives you a 3G SDI input. Over HDMI the monitor will accept up to 4K DCI 60p signals, while the SDI will be limited to HD at up to 60p. There is also a stereo headphone out as well as built-in LED tally lights.

The LUT11S supports a 3G-SDI signal LUT loop-out function, which allows users to output a custom LUT image to other displays. When the signal is set to SDI, you need to turn on “LUT Switch” and “SDI Out (LUT)” in the menu.

The monitor features all of the usual video assist tools and it supports user uploadable LUTs. On the top of LUT11S there are three custom shortcut buttons, so users can set the shortcut functions in advance to be able to quickly call up the required functions during shooting.

The FeelWorld LUT11S 10″ 4K Ultra-Bright Monitor with Loop-Through HDMI & 3G-SDI retails for $299.99 USD which makes it pretty good value for money.
