BirdDog has announced the availability of it's newest NDI PTZ cameras, the P110 and P120.
PTZ cameras don't perhaps get the same coverage as new releases such as the Nikon Z9, but they are becoming an increasingly important component for remote production, as well as for events and live streaming.
BirdDog debuted the P110 and P120 back at NAB this year, but now the cameras are available to order. Both cameras feature a back illuminated Sony Exmor sensor and are powered by BirdDogs own custom NDI silicon.
There are four output options, NDI, SDI, and HDMI for live production and as well as a UVC USB connection for use as a Zoom or Teams camera. Multiple variations of NDI are supported including Full NDI, NDI|HX2 and HX3, along with SRT and H.264. Cloud Connect will apparently be coming soon.
Other features include FreeD output for AR/VR workflows, an OLED IP address display, 360-degree mohawk tally, and auto-tracking. Both cameras also support NDI5 natively.
