you have to suffer, 09 May 2022 sd 870?? hell nah thats a huge downgrade. just fan the phone and youre done. Funny you say that, it doesn't really work all the time. A friend of mine always uses an external fan on his Motorola Edge 30 Pro but the difference is not big enough for him to warrant a full use of it. Even with the fan, it still feels toasty. His previous Edge 20 Pro works fine on full speed without any fan whatsoever. If I really want to have a fan on a smartphone, I want to have a premium counterpart of ZTE's nubia Red Magic phones.

Xiaomi should take notes from zte. Mi12 is like a joke compared to zte 40.

The 30 Ultra had middling camera reviews with a similar triple 64 PM setup. Fringing, color shift, and limited dynamic range is what I remember. So I am not holding my breath that ZTE's computational photography is much improved in a year.

joe nodden, 09 May 2022 Would've been basically a perfect phone had they only gone with a Dimensity 9000 instead. what you say is true but they will surely use dimensity 9000 in their next model : zte axon 50 ultra or perhaps zte axon ultra 40 se but i ll be waiting for a 100x zoom like the one in p40pro plus + a dimensity 9000 chipset

George399, 09 May 2022 US will ban any chinese telecommunications company inside the US only because is chinese ZTE is not banned from selling phones in the US. They were on probation. They've never been invested in bringing their best devices to compete on US soil. I think the Axon 10 pro was available here, but I've usually only seen entry level ZTE phones offered on carriers. Their bread and butter in the US was telecommunications. Not handsets.

This 40 Ultra is perfect powerful on paper but i hope it is when put into practicality Nd o is it IP rated??
