The iPhone 13 and Samsung Galaxy S22 are among the most popular high-end phones and they have a lot in common. They also have minor changes from the iPhone 12 and Samsung Galaxy S21. However, you will find a lot of upgrades if you look under the hood.

For instance, the Samsung Galaxy S22 had major changes compared to its predecessor, especially with its display, camera, and portability. The iPhone 13, on the other hand, has an enhanced processor powered by a neural engine and an improved battery life.

There are many high-end phones in the market today, but these two stand out from the rest. When looking to get one of these, it can be challenging to find the one to go for. Here is a comparison of the two phones to guide you when choosing one for yourself;

Looking at the Samsung Galaxy S22 for the first time, you might think that it looks exactly like its predecessor. It comes with a similar contour cut design. In addition, its camera module flows on the phone's left edges making it blend well with the frame.

Its back comes with a Corning Gorilla Glass, which will soon play a major role in everyday driving, with a haze finish. This makes the phone look much better than the previous model. The Galaxy S22 is more sleek, fashionable, and looks more modern.

The iPhone 13, on the other hand, comes with some of the features that were introduced with the iPhone 12 flagship. For instance, it has a similar flat edge to its predecessor but offers a bigger thickness.

This thickness is largely caused by the bigger battery it has under the hood. It also comes with a diagonal camera with bigger lenses compared to iPhone 12. This phone features a front glass made of a ceramic shield. Some people, including Apple themselves, claim that this is the toughest glass on a smartphone across the globe.

The design and display of these phones can tempt you to get one today even if you do not have any money. Well, if you are already tempted, you do not have to worry because some companies provide contract phones without an upfront cost. This way, you can spread your payment over a long period and get any of these phones without paying anything in upfront fees.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 comes with three cameras. They include a 12MP ultra-wide lens, 10MP telelens, and a 50MP wide-angle camera.

The 50MP camera comes with a host of features, key among them the 85-degree view, optical image stabilization, and dual pixel autofocus. The 10MP camera comes with an optical zoom while the 12MP camera features a 120-degree field of view.

The iPhone 13 cameras do not stand a chance against the Samsung Galaxy S22 camera. First of all, the iPhone 13 camera has only two sensors. Its dual setup camera features a 12MP ultra-wide lens and a 12MP wide camera.

Compared to its predecessor, it features new sensors that are larger with a host of features. Some of the features include optical image stabilization controlled by a sensor shift, cinematic mode, and photographic styles.

Apple has been the leader in the manufacturing of chipsets for several years. The iPhone 13 comes with one of the best processors you will find in a smartphone today. This guarantees you an extremely good usage combined with great efficiency and performance.

Samsung, on the other hand, comes with different chipsets depending on your location. For instance, UAE, South Korea, North America, South Africa, and India use the Qualcomm processor while Europe uses the Exynos 2200.

You are not going to have any problems with the daily usage of the Galaxy S22. Those using the European version (it uses the Xclipse GPU) can enjoy a great performance due to the collaboration between AMD and Samsung in making the processor.

Normal users are not going to have any problems using these two phones. They will run applications and games even within their most intense settings. However, the iPhone 13 beats Samsung for users looking for the maximum output in performance.

Finally, you cannot talk about these two phones without discussing their batteries. A few years ago, you had to carry a lighting cable and power bank all the time when using an iPhone. However, this has so far changed. The iPhone 13 has added to the capacity of its predecessor's battery and you can now go for a day without charging your phone.

This is not the same case with the Samsung Galaxy S22. Many users have already complained about the battery life of this phone. It comes with a 4,000mAh battery, which does not seem big enough to power the phone. This means that you are better, in terms of battery life, using the iPhone 13 instead of the Galaxy S22.

Both phones come with different features. Of course, you cannot find a "one fits all phone", but looking at the features discussed above, you can choose one depending on your requirements.
